AinaBazaar GEM LAB (ABGL) is the GEM testing Laboratory in Afghanistan, providing services to the general public, government, and the Gem and Jewelry industry. AGL having a team of experienced gemologists, serving with the aim of transparency, authenticity and ethical trade of gems. Our lab is equipped with the most advanced gem testing equipment's and well trained professionals to offer the best services in the shortest possible time frame. To ensure optimum quality, our laboratory is constantly surveyed by our quality controllers who ensure that all equipment is functioning at optimum level. We also keep updating our technological strength and this has enabled us to serve customers in the best possible manners.

AinaBazaar GEM LAB (ABGL) team consists of highly qualified and experienced specialists from different countries, between them they speak different languages – not forgetting “GEMMOLOGY”, one of the language they all have in common! Each team member is trained specifically in his field of work, such as gemmology, the operation of analytic instruments, gemstone photography. Every gemmologist has a degree in Geology, Mineralogy, Crystallography, Geographer and so forth, complemented by a degree in Gemmology. We are proud of our expertise and our skills which, complemented with each individual’s unique personality, contribution to the strong core of our company.

Identifying gems becomes an art. Gemstone Identification can involve many tests. Gem identification involves conducting tests of a gem's optical and physical properties through various equipment’s to narrow a list of possibilities down to one. It also involves observation tempered by knowledge and experience.

Identifying gemstone treatments is a challenging task even for an experienced gemologist. But at ABGL we use a range of testing techniques including advanced instruments so as to analyses all gemstones for any possible treatments.
Gemstone Certification
ABGL (AinaBazaar GEM LAB) certification is highly respected in the industry because it is known for its rigorous and par-excellent standards and impartial evaluations. The ABGL uses a standardized grading system that evaluates a gemstone based on its color, clarity, cut, and carat weight also known as the popular 4C’s. The ABGL also provides a detailed report that includes information about the gemstone's origin, treatments, and any other relevant information that an individual or an organization must know. Our Certificate have many security labels and marks which cannot make copy or duplicate. AGL certificate can be verified online from anywhere in the world.
Appraisal
We authenticate and appraise jewelry from every era including Georgian, Victorian, Edwardian, Art Nouveau and Art Deco through Retro and modern designer jewelry. We also appraise ethnic jewelry and collectible fashion (costume) jewelry.
